The University of Macau (UM), also known as "澳大" in Chinese, is a public and internationally renowned comprehensive research university located in Macau, China. UM is a founding member of various academic alliances and organizations, including the Sino-European Business School Alliance, the Belt and Road International Science Organization, the Greater Bay Area Higher Education Alliance, and the Asia-Pacific Academy of Economics and Management.

City University of Macau, often referred to as "City U," is a comprehensive university located in the Macau region of China. It is one of four universities in Macau that offer education at all levels, including undergraduate, master's, and doctoral programs. City U is a member of various academic alliances and organizations, including the Greater Bay Area Higher Education Alliance, the World Alliance for Translator Education, the International Alliance of Design and Art Schools, the Sino-Portuguese Higher Education Cooperation Alliance, and the World Transport Decarbonization Alliance.
